our puppies!
Our puppies are well-loved long before birth. We spend hours analyzing pedigrees and researching genetic history. The proper temperament of both parents is vital, and we take all variables into consideration before planning a litter.
Our puppies are adorable, sweet, playful, and very cuddly! They have been given the best proper early upbringing; they are raised in our living room and handled daily from birth. We believe in the importance of ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and provide them with a variety of interactive toys designed to help optimize puppy physical, psychological, and emotional well-being. Our puppies spend supervised time outdoors and are socialized with our other dogs (large & small!), cats, and farm animals.
All puppies are started on housebreaking, crate training, and basic obedience commands before going to their forever homes. We keep puppies until they are between 10 - 12 weeks old to provide optimal early socialization with other dogs, animals, people, car rides, city traffic, and noises. At 8 weeks old, they start attending our dog daycare where they meet dogs and people of every age, shape, & size. We put many hours of love and training into each puppy!
Before leaving for their forever homes, our puppies are temperament tested, have a thorough exam by our veterinarian, a health certificate, the first round of distemper / parvo vaccinations, a fecal flotation, BAER test (a test done by a veterinary specialist to determine hearing ability), and all required genetic testing. New owners receive copies of all paperwork.
We do not make any placements on where each puppy will go until they are 8 weeks old and all health, structural evaluations, and temperament testing has been done. At that point we will place each individual puppy in the most compatible home based on the families on our wait list. This structured placement process of ours ensures each family is matched with the best possible puppy for their lifestyle. We do not ship puppies in cargo; new families must either drive to pick up their puppy or fly with their puppy in cabin.
Our puppies represent our love, passion, and devotion to this wonderful breed. They always remain a part of us!
